Washington Post: Watch “ALL THE LIGHT IN THE SKY” online

From today’s Washington Post:

“ALL THE LIGHT IN THE SKY” becomes a funny, touching and intimate meditation on aging and acceptance — the perfect at-home bookend to Richard Linklater’s “Boyhood,” which is in theaters.

Appropriately enough for Swanberg, who has carved out an impressive career in the super-independent space of micro-budget film, “ALL THE LIGHT IN THE SKY” is also about how to keep oneself sustainable within a constantly changing and often cruel media landscape.

Put another way, Swanberg is addressing how we live and love within our means — environmental, emotional and biological. “ALL THE LIGHT IN THE SKY” poses deep questions with the lightest of touches (the funniest of which is co-star Larry Fessenden’s impromptu Jack Nicholson impersonation).

UNTIL DAWN: Facts You Should Know

From PSU.com:

UNTIL DAWN: 7 Facts You Should Know About PlayStation’s Serial Killing Exclusive

“With Supermassive Games and Sony Computer Entertainment poised to reveal more about the PlayStation exclusive Until Dawn at Gamescom 2014, what we know already excites us. If Supermassive gets this right we could have a classic horror game on our hands.

There’s still a lot to be revealed, but here’s seven snippets of information to whet your appetite and get you in the mood for some semi-serious, serial killing action.

1. Until Dawn is a horror adventure game under development by Supermassive Games whose previous titles include Killzone HD and LittleBigPlanet PS Vita.

2. It’s been described as a teen horror experience and Supermassive has hired Hollywood writers Larry Fessenden and Graham Reznick to create a script inspired by classic movies of the genre such as I Know What You Did Last Summer.

3. The storyline follows a group of teens who stay overnight in a log cabin. One-by-one they get picked off and murdered by a mysterious serial killer. We’re promised twists and shocks along the way, though the script will also feature humour inspired by movies such as Scream.”

Checkout PSU.com for more facts about the game, and get a look at the trailer below.
