CARLES TORRAS, Director/Writer – He began his career as a director with the film coral  Joves(2004), winning several awards throughout more than 30 international competitions. Followed Trash (2009), starring Oscar Jaenada, who participated in the Official Section of the Festival of Malaga and obtained 13 nominations to the Gaudí Awards of the Catalan Film Academy. With his third feature, Carles Torras launches a new stage as director and producer of his own company, Zabriskie Films . In this sense,  Open 24h (2011) reflects such a turning point and maturity, Encroach the spectator in a disturbing psychological and dominated by the chiaroscuro atmosphere. The tape led him to compete for the second time in the Festival of Malaga and again gets 7 nominations from the Academy of Catalan Cinema. In his role as producer (Zabriskie Films), Torras has been responsible for works of other filmmakers, as also  American Jesus  of Aram Garriga, an international co – production with the United States, Spanish TV and Televisió de Catalunya which toured countless festivals around the world. Callback  (2016) represents a further step towards the consolidation of its vocation as an independent filmmaker. It is a production associated with the American company, Glass Eye Pix, shot entirely in English in the streets of New York and has enjoyed the cooperation of the ICEC and Televisió de Catalunya.
