AMY SEIMETZ (Emily) stars in Adam Wingard's A HORROBLE WAY TO DIE along with AJ Bowen and Joe Swanberg and for which she won the best actress award at Fantastic Fest in Texas. Has most recently acted in MYTH OF THE AMERICAN SLEEPOVER which played played at Critics Week in Cannes... as well as THE OFF HOURS directed by Meghan Griffiths.
Seimetz completed her first feature film CITY ON A HILL which was selected for the 2009 IFP Director’s Labs. She also completed production for a short she co-wrote, co-directed and starred in, with filmmakers Mary Bronstein and Ronnie Bronstein. She co-produced and acted in Joe Swanberg’s next film SILVER BULLETS. She also produced a film for Alison Bagnall starring Greta Gerwig and Olly Alexander that is tentatively called 40 DAY DREAM.
She recently acted in ALEXANDER THE LAST with Jess Weixler, directed by Joe Swanberg, and produced by Noah Baumbach and Anish Savjani. Seimetz acted in several films coming out this year— including BITTER FEAST starring James Legros and Joshua Leonard directed by Joe Maggio, ONE NIGHT ONLY starring Garret Dillahunt and Kristen Wiig, and Lena Dunham’s TINY FURNITURE.
SHEA WHIGHAM (John) is currently starring as Elias Thompson on the HBO dramatic series Boardwalk Empire as Elias "Eli" Thompson, sheriff of Atlantic City, New Jersey, and brother of the main character Nucky Thompson (Steve Buscemi). Wigham is known to fans of horror from the film SPLINTER.
He stars in the 2000 film TIGERLAND, alongside Colin Farrell. He then went on to appear in the television movies SUBMERGED, R.U.S./H., and PARADISE before he was featured in the 2003 film ALL THE REAL GIRLS. Between 2004 and 2006, he was credited in the Japanese film OUT OF THIS WORLD, the drama television series Medical Investigation, the films WATER and MAN OF THE HOUSE, the television movie Faith of My Fathers, and the films LORDS OF DOGTOWN, PSYCHIC DRIVING and SOUTH OF HEAVEN. Whigham had been featured in one 1997 episode of the television series Ghost Stories.
BILL WEEDEN (The Thin Lady) was in the final cast of The Fantasticks, the longest-running show in the history of the American theater, at the Sullivan Street Playhouse. He has appeared in a lot of Shakespeare, the two “horror” musicals (Little Shop and Rocky), Chekhov, Aeschylus, Tony Kushner, Sam Shepard, Richard Foreman, Arthur Miller, and John Guare. He’s been an on-camera host on Sundance Channel, and has played leading and supporting roles in many feature films and has been a disembodied voice in such classics as Miller’s Crossing, The Age of Innocence, and Malcolm X.
TOM KNUTSON (Pock faced Giant) is a New York actor of stage and screen as well as a dancer. He has appeared in numerous productions, including "Twelfth Night of the Living Dead" and "The Burial at Thebes" and "Artist Descending a Staircase"
BRENDA COONEY (Johnny Boy) Brenda Cooney stars as Fanny Bryers in Glenn McQuaid's I SELL THE DEAD. She "Meghan" in the indie film ACROSS DOT AVE. Her most recent theater endevour was in the play "Da" at the Heights Players in Brooklyn, which was well received. She has appeared in the Glass Eye Pix films THE OFF SEASON, AUTOMATONS, THE HOUSE OF THE DEVIL, and THE INNKEEPERS.
